The Teradek Bolt 6 Monitor Module 750 TX links directly with SmallHD Smart 7 monitors (Cine 7, Indie 7, 702 Touch) to deliver zero‑delay wireless monitoring over 6 GHz and 5 GHz. It transmits visually lossless 4K30 10‑bit 4:2:2 HDR video with a line‑of‑sight range of 750 ft (≈230 m). The 6 GHz band—now cleared in the EU, US, Canada, Japan and ANZ—helps avoid crowded 5 GHz networks, keeping feeds stable on set while retaining interop with Bolt 4K receivers on 5 GHz.
Video input is HDMI 1.4b via the monitor’s block adapter, carrying embedded 2‑ch 48 kHz/24‑bit LPCM. Supported formats include UHD 4K 23.98–30p, 1080p 24–60p, 1080PsF 24–30, 1080i 50/59.94/60 and 720p 50/59.94/60. Transmission uses uncompressed video with a measured end‑to‑end delay under 1 ms, preserving focus pulls, HDR exposure checks and on‑camera overlays without timing artifacts. Metadata, timecode and run/stop flags are preserved too.
RF architecture pairs 2× RP‑SMA antennas with 40 MHz channels and selectable DFS/non‑DFS ranges. Up to six receivers can subscribe to a single feed. Security is hardware‑level AES‑256 with RSA‑1024 key exchange. Control and diagnostics run through Bluetooth to the Bolt App or the desktop Bolt Manager—spectrum view, channel assignment, pairing and firmware management.
