VELVET Light 2 IP54 Bi-Color LED Panel (No Yoke)

VELVET Light 2 IP54 is a high-output bi-color LED soft panel for crews who need stable white light in demanding indoor and outdoor locations. Weatherproof IP54 protection against rain and dust, an aluminum housing and silent passive cooling keep it reliable for outdoor broadcast positions, OB vans, sports coverage and location shoots where fixtures remain on for long days.

The panel offers a 2700K to 6500K correlated color temperature range in 100 K steps, covering tungsten through daylight with repeatable settings on the rear display. A 100 degree beam and Velvet optic diffuser deliver a homogenous field that wraps skin tones and reduces hard shadows on presenters and guests. Colour quality is maintained with a TLCI of 92 at 3200K and 95 at 5600K, while photometrics reach about 6090 lux at 1 metre and 798 lux at 3 metres at 5600K, supporting use as a key, fill or background source on multi-camera sets and streaming stages.

Light level and colour can be adjusted on the shock-resistant rear panel or from a console via 5 pin DMX-RDM. Smooth 0 to 100 percent dimming and an output frequency specified for use up to 2000 fps keep the source flicker free for high speed capture and demanding broadcast shutter angles. Universal 90 to 264 VAC operation and a 24 to 35 VDC input with V-lock or Gold mount battery plates allow the same fixture to move between studio grids, mobile flypacks and battery powered field kits.

Built around Velvet’s LED engine with selected bin emitters, optic diffusion and continuous monitoring of output, the VELVET Light 2 IP54 maintains consistent colour and level over more than 50,000 operating hours. The low carbon aluminum structure withstands transport and rigging, from stands and ceilings to multipanel frames and pole operated yokes.
