VELVET Power 2x2 Studio Spot 15° Bi-Color LED Panel

The VELVET Power 2x2 Studio Spot 15° is a high-output bi-color LED panel for broadcast grids and multi-camera studios that require precise long-throw control. With a native 15° beam it delivers a concentrated punch that reads clearly on set while retaining the character and softness associated with large-area panels. Rated IP51 dustproof, it suits fixed installations in studios and newsrooms where continuous operation and clean airflow are essential.

A calibrated CCT range from 2700K to 6500K in 100K steps provides stable white light from warm tungsten through neutral daylight. TLCI 98 at 3200K and 96 at 5600K keep skin tones consistent for cinema and UHD broadcast pipelines, avoiding colour shifts that complicate grading. Driven at 410 W, the panel produces approximately 23,000 lux at 3 m and 7,000 lux at 6 m, giving sufficient headroom for key or backlight on large sets, talk shows, sports formats or chroma stages while maintaining comfortable working distances for talent and camera.

The tight 15° optic makes the VELVET Power 2x2 Studio Spot 15° effective as a controllable key, backlight, kicker or beam source in long-throw studio applications. Optional D25, D50, D100 and DVELVET diffusion filters progressively widen the beam up to 105°, turning the same head into a broad softlight for set washes, green screens and audience fills. The 2000 fps output frequency ensures flicker-free capture for high-speed cameras used in sports, replay and tabletop or VFX work.

Control and integration follow broadcast practice. Shock-resistant onboard buttons with a clear display provide direct access to intensity, colour temperature and quick 3200K / 5600K presets, while bi-directional DMX/RDM with 5-pin XLR simplifies patching, monitoring and master–slave operation across multiple fixtures. A passively cooled aluminum housing keeps the fixture silent in studios, and the Studio pack supplies yoke, PSU and mains cabling for direct rigging on grids, hoists or stands.
