VELVET Power 2 IP54 Flood 30° is a 2×1 bi-color LED panel for outdoor and studio work where a wide, controlled field of light is required. The IP54 weatherproof housing and fanless passive cooling keep the unit operating reliably in rain, dust and heat, while the 30° flood beam concentrates 190 W of output into a punchy yet controllable source for key, fill or background light on drama, live broadcast and streaming.
The panel offers a variable white range from 2700 K to 6500 K in 100 K steps, allowing precise matching to tungsten sets, daylight ambience or mixed LED rigs. An LED engine with CRI 97 and TLCI up to 98 maintains neutral skin tones and consistent colour rendition across the range. Light level can be adjusted from 0 to 100 % with smooth, flicker-free dimming at 16 kHz, remaining clean at frame rates up to 2000 fps, useful for high-speed inserts and beauty work.
Native 30° optics provide a balance between throw and coverage, delivering strong exposure at several metres while keeping spill under control on compact sets. Optional hard diffusion and D25, D50, D100 and DVELVET filters extend the beam into a wide soft source for window light, cyc washes or bounce use on white ceilings. A single Power 2 IP54 Flood 30° can function as a key for two-person interviews, a shaped kicker on music videos or a compact exterior source for façades and small sets.
Fixture control is available locally via shock-resistant buttons and a clear display, or via DMX/RDM through 5-pin XLR, simplifying addressing and remote control in fixed TV grids and touring systems. The unit accepts 24–35 V DC through an XLR-3 input for battery operation and can also run from 90–264 V AC with the supplied 200 W IP54 power supply and 3.5 m cable. The robust black aluminium chassis makes VELVET Power 2 IP54 Flood 30° a reliable bi-color flood panel for rental houses, broadcast facilities and mobile production trucks.
