VELVET Mini 2 Studio Bi-Color LED Panel (No Yoke)

VELVET Mini 2 Studio (MPN VM2STNY) is a compact bi-color LED soft light panel with an integrated AC PSU and an IP51 dustproof enclosure for studios and protected locations. Colour temperature spans 2700K–6500K in 100K steps, with quick access to 3200K and 5600K for fast resets between tungsten and daylight looks. Output is dimmable from 0 to 100 with smooth, flicker-free transitions, and local control uses shock-resistant buttons with a clear digital display.

Manufacturer photometrics specify 2400 lux at 1 m and 330 lux at 3 m, delivered through a wide 100° beam that keeps faces evenly exposed while covering desks, sofas and two-person interview positions without aggressive falloff. Colour performance is rated at TLCI 97 (3200K) and TLCI 98 (5600K), supporting consistent skin tones and stable white balance when intercutting multiple cameras. The broad, soft field also works as overhead key on news desks, as fill in multicam talk sets, or as a controlled backdrop wash for webcast panels when paired with spill control.

Infrastructure integration is straightforward: universal 90–264 VAC input and a 100 W draw, with powerCON TRUE1 AC in/out for pass-through cabling along a ceiling grid or truss line. Wired DMX-RDM over 5-pin XLR in/out enables addressing and parameter changes from consoles or studio automation. The LED driver runs at 16 kHz for flicker-free capture up to 2000 fps. Fan-free passive cooling keeps the unit silent, rated LED life exceeds 50,000 hours, and operation is specified from −20°C to +40°C.

This is the No Yoke configuration, supplied without a yoke for custom rigging. Use the side mounting points (including sliding 1/4-20 threads) plus VELVET modifiers such as foldable snapgrids or removable barn doors to control spill on green screens, control rooms and compact streaming studios where acoustic silence and repeatable output are operational requirements. It also integrates cleanly into rental inventories.
