VELVET Power 2x2 Studio Flood 30° Bi-Color LED Panel

The VELVET Power 2x2 Studio Flood 30° is a high-output bi-color LED panel for fixed studio grids and demanding broadcast environments that need a long-throw, precisely controlled beam. Its 30° optical system produces a concentrated field delivering 10,000 lux at 3 m and 2,260 lux at 6 m, giving lighting directors a powerful key, back or window source from high ceilings and distant positions while maintaining clean, usable beam edges.

VELVET’s calibrated 2700-6500 K engine with TLCI 98 at 3200 K, 96 at 5600 K and CRI values around 97 ensures stable, neutral white for multi-camera studios, virtual production volumes and chroma stages. Smooth 0–100 % dimming and flicker-free output up to 2,000 fps keep exposure consistent for high-speed capture, HDR workflows and live broadcast. Fan-free passive cooling, IP51 dust protection and a sealed electronics compartment guarantee silent running in newsrooms, drama sets, corporate studios and conference centres where microphones sit close to the fixture.

The integrated on-board interface uses shock-resistant keys and a clear display, while DMX/RDM with 5-pin XLR in/out enables console control, remote addressing and status feedback for large studio infrastructures. In the studio pack configuration the VELVET Power 2x2 Studio Flood 30° ships with a heavy-duty yoke with 28 mm junior spigot, external AC power supply (90–264 V) and mains cable, so it can be rigged immediately on studio grids, motorised hoists, wall plates or stands.

With a 410 W power draw and high-efficiency optics, this LED flood panel delivers strong punch with lower electrical load than comparable tungsten or HMI heads in broadcast, streaming, e-sports, education and corporate studios. LED life beyond 50,000 hours, IP51 housing and CO₂-conscious European manufacturing support long-term, sustainable deployment. Optional diffusion and beam-shaping filters extend the native 30° distribution up to 115°, allowing the same LED flood panel to serve as a tight long-throw source, soft overhead wash or large reflector fill within a single studio lighting system.
