VELVET Power 2x2 Studio Flood 30° Bi-Color LED Panel (No Yoke)

The VELVET Power 2x2 Studio Flood 30° is a high-output bi-color LED panel for fixed grids and broadcast stages that need wide, even coverage with studio-grade control. Its IP51 dustproof housing and fanless passive cooling support continuous use in television studios, virtual sets and corporate video stages without fan noise near microphones. A 410 W LED engine drives a nominal 30° flood beam, concentrating output for strong exposure while remaining compact enough for multi-fixture rigs over large talk-show or news sets.

The light engine of the VELVET Power 2x2 Studio Flood 30° delivers variable white from 2700K to 6500K in 100 K steps so colour temperature can match tungsten fixtures, daylight ambience or LED walls with repeatable precision. Carefully binned emitters and custom optics achieve a TLCI of 98 at 3200K and 96 at 5600K, with CRI around 97, ensuring neutral skin tone reproduction across multi-camera chains. Output is dimmable from 0–100% via a high-frequency driver that remains flicker-free up to 2000 fps, allowing standard broadcast frame rates and high-speed inserts to share the same rig without visible pulsing.

At 5600K the panel reaches around 90,000 lux at 1 m, approximately 10,000 lux at 3 m and 2,260 lux at 6 m, giving gaffers sufficient level for key, fill, backlight or bounced applications in large studios. The native 30° beam provides a controlled field that can be shaped with flags, while optional D25, D50, D100 and DVELVET diffusion filters expand coverage to roughly 45–115° for softer wash, cyc lighting or green-screen work. A single Power 2x2 Studio Flood can serve as a powerful key through a softbox, a ceiling bounce for magazine sets or a broad backlight for panel shows and streaming stages.

Day-to-day operation is handled through shock-resistant local controls and a clear display, or via DMX/RDM using the integrated XLR-5 I/O, simplifying patching and remote control from lighting consoles and media servers. The unit runs from 90–264 V AC through a dedicated power supply with Neutrik XLR-3 DC input, and its more than 50,000-hour LED lifetime suits permanent installations and intensive rental cycles.
