The VELVET Start 1 Pack is a compact professional bi-color LED panel kit built around the Start 1 soft light, supplied with yoke, combo pin and AC cable for quick integration into studio grids, OB vans or location rigs. The dustproof IP41 housing, passive cooling and integrated PSU form a silent fixture that can stay permanently installed on television sets, streaming stages or corporate studios where reliability and clean cabling are critical.
At the core of the pack is a natural soft source delivering 2070 lux at 1 m (5600 K) with a wide 100° beam, providing even key or wraparound fill for news desks, talk shows, beauty content and interview setups. The continuously variable 3000–6000 K range, adjustable in 100 K steps, combined with a TLCI 96 engine, maintains consistent skin tones across mixed camera systems and multi-camera environments, from warm tungsten-style ambience to cooler daylight for green screen or virtual production prelighting.
On-board control uses shock-resistant keys and a clear display for fast level and CCT adjustment from 0–100% with flicker-free output up to 2000 fps, supporting high-frame-rate commercials or sports promos. For centralized workflows, the integrated DMX/RDM interface with 5-pin XLR in/out enables remote addressing, monitoring and master–slave operation of multiple fixtures in studio lighting networks or theatre grids, reducing setup time when building larger soft sources or multi-point interview lighting.
The VELVET Start 1 Pack includes the VS1STNYC panel, tubular yoke with junior/baby combo pin and 3.5 m PowerCON TRUE1 cable, forming a ready-to-hang solution for rental houses, broadcast facilities and mobile streaming kits. The low-carbon aluminum chassis, sealed electronics and 50 W power draw support continuous operation with minimal maintenance, while compatibility with SnapBag, SnapGrid, barndoors and rigging accessories lets gaffers tailor beam control for drama sets, magazine-style presenters or product tabletop work.
