The VELVET Start 2x2 Bi-Color LED Panel (VS2X2STNYC) is a professional soft source for broadcast studios, video production spaces and streaming rooms that require consistent white light quality. Its bi-color 3000-6000K engine, adjustable in 100K steps, maintains stable output and chromaticity across the range, with high TLCI/CRI for accurate skin tones and reliable reproduction of set colors. A wide 100° beam delivers an even, wraparound field that minimises multiple shadowing on talent, set pieces and chroma key backgrounds.

Driven by an integrated 200W AC PSU (90–264 VAC, 50/60 Hz) and a fanless passive cooling system, the VELVET Start 2x2 operates silently while providing flicker-free output up to 2000 fps, with photometrics around 7460 lux at 1 m (5600K) for high-output soft illumination. Stepless 0–100% dimming preserves color temperature at all levels, while IP41 dust protection and the low-carbon aluminium chassis support intensive operation in newsrooms, talk shows, training studios and OB facilities.

On-board shock-resistant controls with numeric display provide fast access to dimmer and CCT, including a dedicated 3200K/5600K shortcut for quick switching between tungsten and daylight-balanced modes. For system integration, the panel offers DMX-RDM control over 5-pin XLR in/out and a locking Neutrik PowerCON TRUE1 TOP mains connector, enabling daisy-chaining in fixed grids or lighting rigs. Optional yokes, SnapBag and SnapGrid softboxes, barndoors and transport cases extend its use as a key, fill or background light.
