Bolin R9-418FW is an indoor 4K PTZ camera for studios, control rooms and streaming environments where image consistency and reliable integration matter. A Sony 1-inch Exmor R CMOS sensor with 14.2 MP works with a Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* lens, constant F2.8 aperture and 18x optical zoom in 4K (24x in Full HD) to deliver detailed, low-noise images from ISO shots to presenter close-ups and wide establishing views. Optical image stabilisation, 130 dB WDR, ND filter and advanced noise reduction maintain contrast and colour accuracy with HDR LED walls, theatrical lighting or conference fixtures.
For signal transport, Bolin R9-418FW outputs simultaneously over HDMI, dual 6G-SDI and IP streaming, with an SFP+ optical SDI slot for long fibre runs in larger venues. Baseband outputs reach up to 3840×2160 30p and 1080p60 with 4:2:2 sampling, while an FPGA-based FAST HEVC hardware codec generates low-latency 4K and Full HD streams in H.264/H.265. Two concurrent IP streams with support for RTSP, RTMP(S), SRT and MPEG-TS over unicast or multicast let SDI, HDMI and IP feeds carry different formats at the same time, so a single camera can feed a vision mixer, local confidence displays and a CDN encoder in parallel.
PTZ mechanics are broadcast grade: pan –170° to +170° and tilt –30° to +90°, with speed from 0.05°/s for scripted moves up to 70°/s for fast reframing. Up to 255 presets with motionless recall, PTZ trace memory, NC35-level quiet motors suit stages, auditoriums, worship spaces and live event venues. Genlock via black burst or tri-level sync keeps multi-camera chains phase aligned, while control options include VISCA and Pelco P/D, VISCA over IP, ONVIF, IR remote and REST API integration. The integrated FreeD protocol exposes position data for AR/VR engines, and balanced audio I/O with phantom power, embedded audio on all outputs, PoE++ single-cable power make the Bolin R9-418FW White a flexible tool for demanding professional AV, broadcast, corporate and medical environments.

FreeD helps provide all the axis data needed for a Bolin PTZ camera to intelligently and smoothly pan, tilt, and zoom while following designated objects and people. Broadcasters can combine Bolin’s FreeD-enabled PTZ cameras with available, sophisticated software to automate complex camera operations with spectacular results.
