Canon RC-IP100 PTZ Controller

Centralised, hands-on command of a multi-camera PTZ rig becomes far less stressful once a dedicated console handles the heavy lifting. The Canon...
Behind the satin titanium-white finish of the Canon CR-N700 White sits a Type 1.0 single-plate CMOS sensor paired with Canon's DIG!C DV7 processor — the same engine family that drives Canon's cine bodies. The result is UHD 4K60p video in 4:2:2 10-bit, with clean tonal gradation in highlights and a controlled noise floor across the -6 to +36 dB gain range. Minimum subject illumination drops to roughly 3 lux, holding the image together when ambient light collapses outdoors or during dim theatrical moments.
The 9-blade 15x optical zoom covers 8.3–124.5 mm (25.5–382.5 mm in 35 mm equivalent) at f/2.8–4.5, extending to 30x reach in Full HD for tight shots from a fixed truss. Canon's optical stabilisation keeps long focal lengths watchable on flexing stages, while Dual Pixel CMOS AF with EOS iTR AF X tracks eyes, faces and heads using deep-learning logic — including subjects who briefly turn away. A motorised ND filter (1/4, 1/16, 1/64) and a dedicated IR mode round out a sensor stage that responds across lighting conditions.
For signal distribution, the CR-N700 White carries 12G-SDI alongside 3G-SDI, HDMI Type A and IP video over PoE++ (IEEE 802.3bt), each capable of 4K60p output. Streaming protocols run deep: NDI|HX, SRT, RTMP/RTMPS, RTP/RTSP, Canon XC and FreeD sit alongside genlock and timecode BNCs, so the unit slots into NDI fabrics, contribution links over public internet, or virtual production stages without external bridges. Two balanced XLR inputs with 48 V phantom plus a 3.5 mm mic line cover lavaliers, shotguns and stage feeds. The drive runs at 0.1° to 100°/sec across ±170° pan and -30°/+90° tilt, with 100 presets stored on board.
Use the Region of Interest crop to split one camera into two simultaneous FHD feeds — handy for cutting wide-and-tight angles in a small studio or hybrid event without doubling the head count. HDR capture in PQ, HLG, Canon Log 3 and Wide DR matches the colour science of larger Cinema EOS bodies for mixed-rig shoots, and Auto Tracking Lite ships in firmware, with the paid RA-AT001 application available when presenter-following becomes routine. For broadcast teams, AV integrators and live-event producers, the Canon CR-N700 White brings a sensor-led approach to remote operation that holds its value across production cycles.

4K detail for imaging excellence
A 1.0-Type CMOS sensor and DIGIC DV7 processor deliver 4K UHD 60P imagery in up to 4:2:2 10-bit, 12G-SDI and HDMI for broadcast-standard image quality, plus 4K60P over IP.
Award-winning Auto Focus technology
Fast, intelligent, and extremely accurate focussing via multiple modes thanks to Canon’s proprietary Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology with advanced EOS iTR AF X.
Close the distance with unrivalled clarity
Harness the power of a 1.0-type 4K sensor and DIGIC DV7 processor with Dual Pixel AF. A 15x optical zoom (30x in Full HD) captures productions in exceptional detail, even in Night Mode. Stream 4K60P and HDR quality broadcast footage via a wide range of IP protocols and automate your productions using Auto Tracking.
Class-leading optical precision
The CR-N700’s high-performance lens has a 15x optical zoom (25.5mm - 382.5mm, 35mm equivalent) plus a 30x Advanced Zoom when shooting in Full HD. And when conditions are unstable, Canon’s renowned Image Stabilizer captures optimal footage.
Multiple protocols for seamless integration
The CR-N700 features SRT and NDI|HX1 that produce high quality video streams for broadcasters. RTMP/RTMPS, RTP/RTSP are included, along with Canon XC and Standard communication protocols, plus FreeD for integration into virtual productions.
Powerful HDR imagery and low light capture
Achieve stunning HDR imagery with direct recording into either PQ or HLG formats. A range of custom picture settings includes Canon Log 3 and Wide Dynamic Range to match your image with other Canon cameras.
Crop function – single camera, two video feeds
Select and extract a point of interest via a separate feed. The chosen area can then be output as a main or secondary signal and up to two cropped areas can be set in FHD.
Smooth and precise control
The CR-N700 has a high-precision drive mechanism for fine Pan and Tilt movement as slow as 0.1°/s. Compatible with the RC-IP1000, the RC-SK5, the RC-IP100 controller and Remote Camera Control Application controllers.
Upgrade your content with a new firmware update available August 2025
Download the latest firmware and take advantage of newly added Auto Tracking App RA-AT001* features. Auto Framing features include Multi-Person Framing, that detects and includes multiple people in the frame, while Face Direction Framing and Sit/Stand Framing deliver natural composition for a single person in frame. Additionally, RTMP/SRT auto reconnection and improved camera control from the iOS app is now included.
*Free Auto Tracking App RA-AT001(Lite) available via FW, 1.1.0 or later. A paid license is necessary for full functionality of auto tracking.
