In use, the Cartoni Total Dutch arrives as a complete head ready to sit on top of an existing heavy-duty support through two 3/8" mounting screws. That matters on sets where the camera package is already balanced on a familiar platform and the crew wants to add roll control without rebuilding the whole support chain from zero. The short camera plate accommodates camera-slide inversion, which is particularly useful on cinema rigs that need a cleaner nodal relationship between lens axis and roll movement. It can also be assembled with the Lambda 25 third-axis configuration and camera stage for operators who already work inside that Cartoni ecosystem.

Two supplied 1 kg counterweights are part of the operating logic, not a minor accessory. They help the head achieve true nodal rotation around the optical centre, so the image rolls with more control on heavier builds up to 25 kg payload. That has clear value during product cinematography, commercial tabletop work, dramatic reveal shots, repeated motion across several takes, or plate work that benefits from a stable visual pivot.
