A front-cylindrical optical architecture keeps the 1.5× squeeze ratio constant from the 0.48 m close-focus mark all the way to infinity, so face proportions stay natural and post-production de-squeeze corrections become unnecessary. Fourteen elliptical iris blades shape out-of-focus highlights into oval pools of light — the signature anamorphic character normally associated with twice the squeeze factor.

Inside sits a 15-element, 13-group optical formula pairing three ED ultra-low-dispersion elements with four high-refractive and four cylindrical lenses, delivering edge-to-edge sharpness rated for 12K+ sensor resolutions.
