DZOFilm Pavo 40mm 2x Anamorphic T2.1 (S35) Neutral brings a true 2x anamorphic workflow to Super35 productions with precise control of artifacts. The neutral coating keeps horizontal flares restrained and color-accurate, preserving contrast for multicam broadcast and streaming pipelines. A fast T2.1 aperture is maintained across the PAVO family, yielding oval bokeh and scope-like separation while holding edge definition.

The optical block uses 15 elements in 14 groups with a 16-blade iris to keep highlights round through the stop range. Coverage reaches a 31.5 mm image circle for S35 sensors, enabling 4:3 or 6:5 capture and a straightforward desqueeze to 2.39:1. Focus mechanics provide a long, repeatable 270° throw with 0.8 Mod standard cine gears for precise pulls on hand units cleanly.
