DZOFilm completed its Arles prime line in November 2025 with an 18 mm, then bundled it with the five lenses that launched the series in June 2024. That pairing is the DZOFilm Arles 6-Lens Kit 18/25/35/50/75/100mm PL Mount. Each lens is a T1.4 cine prime, and the 18 is the widest Arles to open that far; the 14 mm stops at T1.9. On full frame the set sees from 90° across down to about 20°, each step roughly 1.4×, so cutting to the next lens tightens the shot by an even margin. No lens change calls for a new exposure.

Rigging survives every swap. Barrels share one length, the 0.8 MOD focus and iris gears sit in identical positions, and the 95 mm front takes one matte box for the kit; the 25 to 100 mm add an M86 thread, the 18 mm has none. Focus turns 270° on metric marks; the scale ring swaps for feet. DZOFilm puts the mechanics through 100,000 fatigue cycles and 1,000 Hz vibration tests, figures worth knowing when a kit rides between jobs in a van. A fitted hard case holds the set.

A 46.5 mm image circle clears VistaVision sensors such as the RED V-Raptor VV or ALEXA LF. DZOFilm goes further: the 25, 35 and 50 mm cover GFX 50S-class medium format, the 75 and 100 mm an ALEXA 65. The low-saturation blue nano coating keeps flare clean and cool, and colour holds near 5000 K from lens to lens, so a grade built on the wide carries into the close-up. Floating elements keep framing steady through a focus pull; the 18 and 25 mm each add two aspheres against distortion and coma. Wide open, contrast softens and the sixteen-blade bokeh swirls slightly at the edges; in Keith Knittel's tests, corners mostly sharpen by T2.8–T4. Close focus ranges from 0.29 m to 0.9 m from the sensor.

PL comes fitted; EF and LPL kits are optional, and the short rear end takes KOOP magnetic filters or an Octopus adapter for mirrorless bodies. Shooting on an ALEXA LF, cinematographer Matt Bendo CSC, AIC likened the depth of field to 65 mm-format lenses, only with a faster stop. That is the work this VistaVision lens set is bought for: a ferry deck after sunset, a museum gallery that bans extra lights, high-frame-rate inserts indoors, car commercials, drama and documentary series.
