Laowa Nanomorph 35 mm T2.4 1.5X S35 Anamorphic (Amber) PL + EF brings widescreen optics to agile rigs. The barrel is only 75 mm long and 520 g light, yet covers Super 35 sensors with a 25.6 mm image circle. Supplied in ARRI PL with a quick-swap Canon EF bayonet, it fits cinema and broadcast workflows. An 80 mm front with a 77 mm filter thread accepts matte boxes or screw-in ND, while an all-metal chassis shields the 15-element/13-group design and internal focus system.

A constant 1.5× squeeze yields a 2.66 : 1 frame on 16 : 9 sensors, easily cropped to 2.39 : 1. The 35 mm focal length shows a 57.5° diagonal (≈ 43° horizontal) field, balancing spatial depth with narrative intimacy. Warm amber flares trace golden streaks across highlights, and a 13-blade iris sculpts creamy oval bokeh. Contrast remains high for modern HDR pipelines.

Exposure control spans T2.4–T16, offering latitude in low-key or HDR scenes. Focus and iris rings share unified 0.8 MOD gears; motor positions stay fixed when swapping Nanomorph primes. Dual scales in metres and feet speed pulls, and a flange-back collar enables rapid collimation. Focus breathing is tightly suppressed, and a 60 cm minimum focus unlocks detailed close-ups.

Compact size and low inertia make this prime perfect for gimbals, drones or vehicle mounts where heavier anamorphics fail. The external 84 mm diameter mates with 114 → 80 mm donuts to keep matte-boxes light-tight. Thermally stable mechanics, multi-layer coatings and a three-year warranty guarantee reliability from field documentaries to virtual stages. For crews needing cinematic sweep in a footprint scarcely larger than a spherical prime, Laowa Nanomorph 35 mm T2.4 1.5X Amber is a precision tool ready for production.
