Laowa Nanomorph 35 mm T2.4 1.5× Anamorphic S35 (Silver) PL + EF is the pocket-size cine prime that gives Super35 cameras the scope look without traditional bulk. Its patented front block preserves a constant 1.5× squeeze from the 0.60 m close-focus limit to infinity, so every shot de-squeezes perfectly to 2.66 : 1 on a 16 : 9 sensor, with headroom for a 2.40 : 1 crop. The neutral silver flare coating mirrors the hue of any key-light, offering restrained streaks you can push or tame in-camera.

Fifteen elements in 13 groups and a fast T2.4-T16 diaphragm with 13 blades deliver edge-to-edge sharpness, creamy oval bokeh and zero focus-breathing “mumps”. Horizontal / vertical angles of view are 57.5° / 25.8°, while the 25.6 mm image circle fully covers ARRI Alexa 35, RED Komodo or Canon C70 sensors. At 0.60 m you can frame intimate portraits with dramatic depth separation—no dioptres, no compromises.

Despite its cine-grade metal housing, the lens measures only Ø 84 × 75 mm and tips the scale at 520 g. A front 77 mmthread supports clip-on matte boxes or screw-in NDs, and unified 0.8 MOD gears keep follow-focus marks identical across the Nanomorph line. Dual metric/imperial scales, shim pack and internal back-focus adjust streamline prep on multi-camera or drone shoots.
