This set bundles a 16mm T2.8 wide-angle with six T2.1 primes — 25mm, 35mm, 50mm, 75mm, 100mm, and 125mm — each projecting a 46.5mm image circle that covers full-frame and Vista Vision sensors. Whether you shoot on an ARRI Alexa LF, RED V-Raptor, Sony Venice, or another PL-mount cinema camera, every lens maintains consistent colour rendition from take to take. Thanks to an interchangeable mount design, DZOFilm's separately available Octopus adapters can convert the native PL bayonet to EF, E-mount, L-mount, RF, or LPL, so one set of glass can follow you across camera ecosystems.
An APO optical design sits at the heart of each Vespid Prime, reducing chromatic aberration to deliver colour purity free of fringing — especially visible in high-contrast transitions and backlit interview setups. The 16-blade iris produces out-of-focus highlights that stay circular across the entire T-stop range down to T22, lending organic quality to bokeh in dialogue close-ups, shallow-depth product shots, and atmospheric night exteriors. Skin tones reproduce faithfully without excessive warmth or clinical coldness, a characteristic that cinematographers shooting commercials, music videos, and narrative productions will notice from the first test frame.
