Libec LX10 Studio is a studio tripod with dolly for broadcast cameras, large camcorders and cinema-style rigs that demand repeatable motion control. The kit combines the LX10 fluid head, RT50B two-stage aluminium legs, dual pan handles and the DL-3RB spreader dolly, so an operator can roll between set positions, lock the wheels, level quickly and keep the camera ready for the next cue.

The head carries up to 16 kg payload and uses fixed counterbalance with a 2-step pan/tilt drag system for consistent resistance when tracking presenters, panning across LED walls or matching camera moves between rehearsal and live. A wide +85° / −65° tilt range supports high-angle lectern framing, low-angle product shots and rapid re-frames. Pan handles mount on rosettes for left/right operation, useful when working close to set walls or sharing control with an assistant. Dedicated pan and tilt locks hold position during lens changes, teleprompter swaps or other accessory changes.

Fast alignment comes from the 100 mm bowl interface and an integrated non-illuminated bubble level, enabling quick horizon correction on studio floors, risers and temporary stages. The sliding camera plate provides ±50 mm travel to tune balance for front-heavy builds—ENG zooms, battery plates, wireless receiver stacks and monitors—so the head stays neutral through slow tilts. Mounting via dual 3/8″ screws reduces twist on long baseplates and keeps the optical axis steady.

On the floor, the dolly turns the system into a compact tracking platform for talk-show two-shots, panel discussions, corporate webcast sets, houses of worship and lightweight OB work, with individual wheel locks for repeatable marks. Leg lock knobs on the RT50B legs keep adjustments secure under load while preserving torsional rigidity for slow pans. Operational coverage spans −20°C to +60°C, supporting cold exterior inserts and hot stage lighting while keeping drag behaviour predictable.
