Mounted overhead rather than on a desk, the Lumens CL511 60x Zoom 4K Ceiling Camera reframes how technical teams capture anything that sits flat on a surface. Suspended from a rail or recessed into the ceiling, it gives a presenter a clean top-down view of a workbench, podium or demonstration table without an arm or stand crowding the shot. The 1/2.8" 8.6MP CMOS sensor records in 4K UHD at 30fps, sharp enough to read fine print on a schematic or the texture of a material sample, and the frame is wide enough to hold a document larger than A0 — roughly 2.2 by 1.2 metres — from a typical two-metre mounting height.

Reach is where the CL511 separates itself from a standard document camera. A 300x total zoom, built from 60x optical and 15x digital, lets an operator fill the screen with a single soldered joint or a line on an engineering drawing while the rig stays fixed above the table. A centre positioning laser marks the middle of the capture area, so placing an object dead-centre takes a second instead of a fiddly nudge-and-check. With the shooting area ranging from 2235 x 1211 mm down to 136 x 76 mm, one unit covers both the full-table wide shot and the extreme close-up.

Connectivity is built for live rooms. HDMI, VGA, USB and Ethernet outputs feed a projector, a large-format display, a capture card or a conferencing platform at the same time, while RTSP H.264 streaming pushes a 2160p30 feed straight onto the network for remote viewers. The USB host port records H.264 1080p60 to a flash drive of up to 4TB, and a built-in memory holds 100 still captures for instant before-and-after comparison — useful when an instructor needs to set a reference image beside a live sample during medical or laboratory training.

A wireless mouse opens the onboard tools: spotlight a region, freeze a frame or draw directly over the image with no PC in the loop, and bring in the bundled Ladibug software on Windows, Mac or Chrome OS for text overlay and 4K recording. PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) carries data and power down a single network cable, which keeps ceiling installation tidy and trims cabling cost. RS-232, Ethernet and USB control, a Kensington lock and a five-year warranty round out a fixture built for courtrooms, lecture halls, culinary demonstrations and technical instruction.

Lumens CL511 can be suspended from, or embedded into the ceiling. It provides presenters an unobstructed top view of a table top, podium, or demonstration area. The camera can shoot documents or objects larger than A0 size (over 88" x 48" / 2.2m x 1.2m) at up to 4K resolution.

Accurate Positioning
The CL511 can project mark the middle of the shooting area with a targeting laser, making it quick and easy to position objects accurately in the center of the frame. With 300x close-up capabilities, the camera is ready to capture the finest details.

Step-Up Onboard Collaboration
The CL511 supports a wireless mouse to access onboard collaboration tools for spotlighting a particular area. It also enables free drawing without a PC or any software. The addition of Lumens Ladibug program gives users access to advanced features such as text overlay, 4K recording, and use with a touch panel.

Fast & Easy Installation
