Magewell Pro Convert for NDI to HDMI solves a familiar installation problem: how to take a live NDI stream from the network and feed a dependable HDMI output to a monitor, projector, multiviewer or confidence display without placing a PC at the destination. This compact NDI decoder handles Full NDI and NDI|HX sources up to 2K60, then delivers HDMI up to 4096x2160 60fps with integrated up-conversion from HD sources. In control rooms, studio monitoring, conference spaces, education, digital signage and event production, it turns an IP source into a screen-ready signal with very low latency and consistent audio/video output.

Its value goes beyond basic NDI decoding. The unit supports NDI 6.3, can discover devices across network segments, and also accepts H.264 and H.265 streams over RTSP, HTTP, HLS, RTMP Pull/Push and MPEG-TS over UDP, SRT or RTP. That makes it useful as a decoder for overflow rooms, remote contribution monitoring, IPTV displays, esports observer positions or houses of worship where several transport methods may coexist. Embedded audio passes through HDMI with support for up to 8 channels, which matters when the destination display, switcher or processor must receive picture and sound together.

Magewell Pro Convert for NDI to HDMI is equally practical at the integration stage. Output follows the connected display’s EDID, helping the decoder select a suitable video format automatically, while image flip, safe area controls, deinterlacing, audio gain and channel mapping allow cleaner deployment on site. Configuration is available through Web GUI, on-board controls or attached keyboard and mouse, and HTTP APIs are available for custom control. PoE on Gigabit Ethernet cuts cable clutter at mounted screens, and support for Crestron plus Q-SYS suits larger managed AV systems. For NDI monitoring points, presentation endpoints and decoder nodes in streaming infrastructure, it is a compact broadcast-grade solution.

The Magewell Pro Convert for NDI® to HDMI converts a live NDI® stream with embedded audio into HD HDMI signal. Decode NDI streams up to 2K 60fps into HDMI output up to 4096x2160 60fps at ultra low latency.

Pro Convert decoders support both dedicated video-over-IP and universal streaming protocols including NDI®, SRT (Secure Reliable Transport), RTMP, RTSP, RTP, UDP, HTTP and HLS, enabling high-quality conversion of full NDI, NDI|HX, H.264 (AVC) or H.265 (HEVC) streams into high-quality HDMI or SDI outputs.

Compatible with a wide variety of hardware and software encoders, Pro Convert decoders transform input streams up to 4096x2160 at 60fps for output to baseband monitors, projectors, hardware switchers and more.
