Magewell Pro Convert HDMI 4K Plus Modator Module is built for racks where an HDMI 2.0 source must become a high-bandwidth NDI signal without adding another converter. Installed in the Magewell Modator chassis, this hot-swappable module encodes one HDMI feed to NDI and keeps an HDMI loop-through active at the same time. That is useful when the source must stay available for a local monitor, confidence display or downstream device while also entering an IP production network.

It accepts input and loop-through signals up to 4096 × 2160 at 60 fps in 4:4:4 8-bit, including 1080p at 144 fps. Supported signal types include RGB and YUV BT.601 / BT.709 / BT.2020, plus 8-channel HDMI embedded audio. On the encoding side, it outputs NDI High Bandwidth up to 4096 × 2160p60 or 1920 × 1080p240 in 4:2:2 8-bit. Custom EDID handling, deinterlacing, scaling, frame-rate adjustment and aspect-ratio control help when integrating cameras, playback machines, presentation PCs or graphics systems.

Control is built for technical environments. The module can be managed from the Modator chassis touch screen, a browser-based Web GUI or Magewell Control Hub, and it also offers HTTP APIs for custom control systems. Because NDI streams can be sent across network segments, it fits multi-room installations, broadcast control rooms, lecture capture systems, corporate AV, houses of worship and esports venues. LED indicators for signal lock and loop status speed up checks during setup and troubleshooting.
