The Datavideo DAC-50S is a high-performance 3G-SDI to analog BNC converter designed for seamless integration of SDI signals into analog systems....
When an IP feed has to land on a monitor, projector, LED processor or HDMI input of a switcher without placing a computer at the destination, Magewell Pro Convert IP to HDMI answers that requirement directly. This standalone IP video decoder converts network media into a clean HDMI 1.4 output and can place up to four incoming sources on one screen. Depending on the monitoring task, it can run as a single full-screen view, picture-in-picture or quad multiview. In a control room, technical gallery, corporate presentation space or lecture hall, that means one compact decoder can show one main program feed or several contribution sources at the same time.
Protocol support is broad enough for mixed broadcast, ProAV and streaming installations. The unit decodes NDI High Bandwidth, NDI HX / HX2 / HX3, SRT, MPEG-TS over RTP, UDP or SRT, plus RTMP, RTSP, HTTP, HLS and ZIXI. In single-screen mode it handles one stream up to 2560 x 1440p60; in PiP it decodes two streams up to 1920 x 1080p60; in quad view it decodes four H.264 or H.265 signals up to 1920 x 1080p60. This is useful for confidence monitoring on stage, checking several camera returns near an LED wall, feeding a projector from an IP network in meeting rooms, or building a compact multiview position for live streaming and television support areas.
Image and sound parameters are strong enough for serious signal presentation. The HDMI output reaches up to 2560 x 1440 at 60 fps with 4:4:4 10-bit processing, supports BT.601 / BT.709 / BT.2020 colour spaces and HDR10, while embedded audio can be delivered at 48 or 96 kHz with up to eight channels. The decoder also supports AAC, MP3, AC3, Opus and G.711 audio formats. For operators, this matters in environments where source consistency is rarely guaranteed: digital signage endpoints, overflow rooms, OB support positions, esports production desks, remote guest monitoring and distributed AV systems can all benefit from one hardware endpoint that is easier to standardise than a PC-based decode point.
Daily operation is not limited to the front panel. Web GUI access provides live status information, preview images and stream control, while settings cover OSD, deinterlacing, output format, audio gain, sample rate, security and network parameters. Control Hub registration enables remote fleet management, HTTP APIs support system integration, and PoE / PoE+ reduces cabling at the destination. Add USB for local peripherals and USB NET support, and Magewell Pro Convert IP to HDMI becomes a practical decoder for broadcast facilities, event venues, education campuses, houses of worship and any installation where IP sources must appear on HDMI screens with predictable behaviour.
