Marshall CV730-BHN is a professional PTZ camera for uncompromising UHD 3840×2160 at 60 fps live production. It captures UHD 3840×2160 at 60 fps from a 1/1.8" Sony CMOS and offers a 30x optical zoom. Simultaneous 12G-SDI, HDMI 2.0, USB-B and IP outputs enable parallel broadcast feeds. High Bandwidth NDI, NDI|HX3 and NDI|HX2 run over RJ-45, with PoE++ power for single-cable deployment. It delivers low latency, frame-accurate sync and rich color for streaming, television and events.
The 6.5–202 mm lens covers a 63° to 3° angle, maintaining detail from wide establishing frames to tight stage close-ups. Minimum object distance is 1.5 m (4.9 ft); aperture spans f/1.6 to f/18. Low-light performance reaches 0.05 lux at F1.6 (50 IRE) aided by WDR and 3D noise reduction. Smart autofocus with face/eye priority keeps subjects tack-sharp. Pan range is 340° (±170°) and tilt is −30° to +90°, with variable transition speeds up to 300°/s for fast repositions or smooth moves. A tally lamp supports live switching environments.
Workflow is flexible. The camera streams H.265/HEVC, H.264 and MJPEG with protocols including RTSP, RTMP/RTMPS, SRT and MPEG-TS. Full-bandwidth NDI offers minimal latency on IP networks, while NDI|HX3/HX2 conserve bandwidth on shared infrastructure. Embedded audio is carried on SDI, HDMI, NDI and USB; a 3.5 mm TRS input accepts mic/line levels. Genlock via black burst or tri-level sync aligns multi-camera systems. Up to 256 position presets are stored; control is available over VISCA, VISCA over IP, ONVIF and PELCO-D via RS-232/RS-422, web UI or IR remote.
PoE++ (IEEE 802.3bt) powers the camera; consumption is under 40 W. The chassis measures 188 × 189 × 233 mm and weighs 2.9 kg. Operating range is 0–40 °C, with 1/4"-20 and M3 mounts for tripod, ceiling or wall brackets. Marshall CV730-BHN is a dependable camera head for studio, corporate, education, sports and staging uses.
