Telycam Explore WH is a PTZ camera built around a 9 MP 1-inch CMOS sensor, delivering UHD 4K60 over 12G-SDI, HDMI 2.0, NDI®|HX3 and SFP+. Its 20× optical zoom (f=9.79–186.5 mm, F2.8–F4.5) spans 71°–4.05° horizontal, 39.6°–2.2° vertical and 78.5°–4.6° diagonal angles. PDAF secures fast, stable focus, while minimum illumination reaches 0.5 lx (50 IRE, 1/30, F1.8). Working distance is 15 cm at wide and 1.5 m at tele for confident tight shots.
Motion control is precise: pan −176° to +176° and tilt −90° to +90° at 0.1–80°/s and 0.1–60°/s, with 0.1° preset accuracy and up to 256 presets. A built-in variable ND filter (1.6%, 6.3%, 25%, 100%) stabilizes exposure under changing key light. Genlock maintains frame-accurate sync for multi-camera workflows in OB vans, XR volumes or virtual sets. The head supports VISCA over IP, VISCA, PELCO-P/D, ONVIF and FreeD for tracked graphics, with tally and native AI auto-tracking for presenter workflows.
I/O is comprehensive: PoE++ for single-cable power and data, gigabit Ethernet, Mini-XLR with phantom power and 3.5 mm line-in, dual microSD slots (one for firmware, one for local recording), plus USB-C with UVC/UAC. Encoders support H.264/H.265 with CBR/VBR up to 122.8 Mbps. Network delivery includes SRT, RTSP, RTMP, HTTP and WebRTC, with multicast RTP available. Matching 2160p60 4K, 1080p and 720p formats are exposed in parallel across SDI/HDMI/SFP+/IP for program, clean and confidence feeds.
