Operating in 6 GHz (plus 5 GHz) with next-gen RF silicon, it moves uncompressed monitoring feeds up to 1500 ft (≈457 m) line-of-sight with <1 ms latency, preserving camera settings and timecode for reliable director and shader work.
The XT platform carries 4K60 10-bit 4:2:2 HDR over 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0. The RX provides output scaling, while the TX offers HDMI→SDI cross-conversion to keep mixed pipelines clean. Ancillary data (timecode / REC flags) passes end-to-end; LUT output control and signal health are available in the Bolt Manager app. Security is hardened with AES-256 plus RSA-1024 pairing, preventing unauthorized links on busy sets.
