VELVET Mini 3 Studio Bi-Color LED Panel

VELVET Mini 3 Studio is a panoramic bi-color LED softlight panel for broadcast studios, press rooms and streaming sets where ceiling height, heat and acoustic noise are non-negotiable. The one-piece aluminium housing is IP51 dustproof and relies on fully fanless passive cooling, so the light stays silent and maintenance-lean during daily live production.

Color is continuously variable from 2700K to 6500K in 100K steps, with an instant access key for 3200K and 5600K. High fidelity is specified at TLCI 97 (3200K) and TLCI 98 (5600K), supporting stable skin rendering and predictable camera matching across mixed fixtures. Output is smoothly dimmable 0–100% via shock-resistant buttons and a clear digital display. VELVET LED technology combines selected BIN LEDs, an optical diffuser and CPU control for repeatable output and tight CCT tracking. The driver remains flicker-free up to 2000 fps, so high-speed inserts and slow-motion B-roll stay clean.

For infrastructure integration, the panel provides DMX-RDM control through XLR-5 in/out for daisy-chained runs, plus PowerCon TRUE1 AC in/out for clean power distribution on grids. Power draw is 150W and the input stage accepts 90–264 VAC. An additional XLR-3 DC input enables external DC feeding when mains access is restricted. Photometrics reach 3200 lx at 1 m and 435 lx at 3 m, and the wide 100° beam supports even key, fill or background wash across 16:9 framing.

The Studio Pack ships as the verified VM3ST-PACK set and includes the panel with integrated AC PSU, yoke, spigot and Schuko power cable. The yoke offers a 16 mm baby receiver combined with a 28 mm junior pin and sliding ¼″ rigging threads for fast positioning on stands or grids. The fixture is specified for 50,000 h L70 and 35,000 h L80, operates from −20°C to +40°C, and optional SnapGrid, barn doors or DMX remote control can tighten spill or accelerate multi-fixture programming.
