BirdDog X1 30x Black Bundle is a ready-to-deploy PTZ package for teams that need long-range framing, network video transport and repeatable camera control without assembling a system from separate parts. The set combines three black BirdDog X1 30x PTZ cameras, the BirdDog KBD controller and a protective transport case, giving production companies, houses of worship, corporate AV teams and streaming studios a coherent platform for multi-camera operation. The 30x optical zoom is the key advantage here: it lets operators frame a lectern, stage, sports area or audience reaction from distance while keeping the camera position discreet and the shot stable.
Each camera delivers Full HD up to 1080p60 and supports NDI|HX3, which is highly relevant when the installation relies on managed network bandwidth but still needs low-latency IP contribution. Alongside IP transport, the camera provides HDMI and USB-C UVC, so the same unit can feed a hardware switcher, a soft codec room, a streaming workstation or a conferencing platform. Built-in Wi-Fi 5 is useful in temporary setups where cabling is limited, while PoE reduces infrastructure complexity in permanent rooms, lecture theatres or worship spaces. The integrated NDI|HX decoder also opens practical options for teleprompter use, return video and confidence monitoring over a single cable path.
For live work, the value of this bundle is not limited to zoom range. AI auto framing and tracking help maintain a usable composition when one operator must supervise several cameras at once. Halo Tally gives presenters and guests a clear visual cue, which matters in panel discussions, education capture and hybrid events where eye-line discipline affects the perceived production standard. The rear E-Ink label speeds up camera identification in racks, flypacks and multi-room deployments, especially when operators move between venues or reconfigure systems under time pressure.
The included BirdDog KBD turns the bundle into a practical control surface rather than a box of separate devices. It allows fast camera selection, tactile PTZ operation and immediate response during concerts, council meetings, esports streams, sermons, conferences and studio talk formats. As a package, BirdDog X1 30x Black Bundle fits buyers who need reach, IP connectivity, direct USB ingest and compact transportability in one purchase, without sacrificing the operational details that make a PTZ system credible in paid production environments.

BirdDog X1 30x 1080P PTZ Camera with 30x Zoom
Following the X1 and X1 Ultra, BirdDog's new X1 30x is the third PTZ camera worldwide with integrated WiFi technology. It features an NDI-HX decoder that was specially developed for use with a control monitor or teleprompter via a single cable. In addition, the X1 30x offers a 30x zoom that is unmatched in the PTZ sector.
The AI tracking technology of all three X1 models keeps the respective subject in focus and follows it in real time: both during live events or spontaneous situations in hybrid environments as well as during dynamic sports recordings. Thanks to its Wi-Fi technology, the BirdDog X1 30x can also be used in locations where cables cannot be laid. This allows it to blend seamlessly into any environment. Thanks to NDI-HX3 integration, the image quality of the network transmission is excellent – with significantly reduced network load.
X1 30x features a unique tally system. A frame that is clearly visible even in daylight lights up on the front of the camera, while the rear can be marked with a replaceable, illuminated number. This means that both the actors in front of the camera and the crew always know which camera is currently on air. The revolutionary e-Ink label on the side displays the camera's network address, even when the power is off. This makes it clearly identifiable and very easy to set up at any time.
In addition, BirdDog has further optimized the display of image colors. X1 30x also features a full-color matrix with individual saturation control for red, green, blue, cyan, yellow, and magenta, with 64 control levels for each color.
The very easy-to-use app for iPad or iPhone gives you full control over the BirdDog camera – from panning, tilting, and zooming to saving and recalling preset PTZ positions to preview images in full-screen mode. All color matrix tools and settings can also be controlled via the app.
Connectivity is limitless with NDI HX3, HDMI, USB-C, and Wi-Fi, seamlessly connecting IP and baseband worlds. In the spirit of sustainability, every X1 30x is made from OBP plastics.
BirdDog X1 30x is available in black or white.
