The 18-35mm covers establishing to mid shots with a close-focus of 0.51 m (1 ft 8 in); the 70-135mm handles subject isolation with a 0.76 m (2 ft 6 in) minimum. Each lens projects a 43.5 mm image circle for full-frame capture and uses precise 0.8 MOD cine gears. A 16-blade iris (T2.9–T22) delivers round highlights and smooth ramps.
