DZOFilm Vespid Prime 5-Lens Kit (12mm/25mm/35mm/50mm/75mm) is a matched cine prime lens kit for professional crews handling frequent swaps across commercials, drama, documentary, TV and live streaming. The focal range covers ultra-wide establishing frames through natural perspective and portrait compression. For large-format acquisition, the set supports VistaVision / Full Frame sensors with a 46.5 mm image circle, keeping vignetting under control on modern cinema cameras and large-sensor broadcast bodies. Typical use spans interiors and architecture, handheld vérité, gimbal moves, dialogue coverage and interviews.

Each lens is fully manual with a long 270° focus rotation for reliable marks and controlled ramps, plus an internal focus architecture that helps limit focus breathing during racks. Most focal lengths use a 16-blade aperture to keep highlights round and transitions smooth; the 12mm uses a 10-blade assembly. The Vespid optical platform is specified as APO, targeting low chromatic aberration, clean edges and neutral colour reproduction that grades predictably under mixed lighting, LED walls and practicals.

Mounting suits mixed fleets: native ARRI PL plus a user-swappable Canon EF mount for cinema bodies, broadcast cameras and PL-to-mirrorless adapter workflows. Standard 0.8 MOD / 32-pitch gearing on focus and iris integrates with follow-focus units and wireless motors, and shared gear placement keeps motors, matte boxes and lens supports in place when swapping focal lengths. Engraved metric and imperial scales support focus pullers working across international crews.

Close focus reaches 0.2 m on 12mm, 0.3 m on 25mm, 0.46 m on 35mm, 0.6 m on 50mm and 0.7 m on 75mm, enabling tabletop inserts, gimbal passes and tight interview framing without diopters. In this kit, the 12mm operates at T2.8 while 25/35/50/75mm run T2.1 (all to T22). A rigid hard case keeps the set ready for rental turnover, OB vans and travel shoots.
