Kinefinity PL Mounting Adapter II

Lens packages rarely stay with one camera body for an entire production. The Kinefinity PL Mounting Adapter II connects ARRI PL cine lenses to a camera fitted with KineMOUNT, so primes, zooms, anamorphics and specialist PL optics remain usable across Kinefinity builds. Attachment is tool-free and uses a locking action familiar to PL crews. No external cable is required, keeping the mount area clear for rods, motors, matte boxes and lens supports. This is the clear, zero-stop version, without the e-ND module sold separately.

Electronic contacts make it more than a mechanical conversion. With a compatible Cooke /i lens and supported camera firmware, Cooke /i lens metadata passes to the camera, including focal length, iris and focus information. Camera teams can verify lens status at capture, retain records for continuity and supply metadata with footage handed to postproduction or VFX. That matters on commercial, drama and virtual-production sets where bodies and lenses rotate often and manual lens logs are easily missed.

Published Kinefinity camera compatibility covers MAVO Edge 8K and 6K, MAVO mark2 LF and S35, MAVO LF, MAVO 6K, TERRA 4K, TERRA 6K and VISTA, with KineMOUNT fitted. A production company can keep a common PL inventory across narrative units, tabletop work, studio capture, gimbal builds and location rigs.
