Telycam Explore XE BK is a broadcast-class PTZ with a 1-inch Sony CMOS (9 MP) and 20× optical zoom (f=9.79–186.5 mm, F2.8–F4.5), delivering 4K60 via HDMI 2.0 and NDI®HX3. The lens spans 71°–4.05° HFOV, 39.6°–2.2° VFOV and 78.5°–4.6° diagonal, with minimum working distance 0.15 m (wide) / 1.5 m (tele). Image processing pairs PDAF autofocus with 2D/3D noise reduction, white-balance modes. Sensitivity reaches 0.5 lux (50 IRE, Max AGC, 1/30, F1.8) with S/N ≥ 50 dB, ensuring consistent color in pro lighting.
IP and baseband I/O are exhaustive: NDI®HX3 main stream up to 3840×2160p60; HDMI 2.0 up to 2160p60; 3G-SDI to 1080p60/59.94; and USB-C (MJPG/H.264/H.265 up to 2160p30, plus NV12/YUYV for UVC workflows). On the network side, choose SRT, RTMP/RTMPS, RTSP, WebRTC, MPEG-TS, HTTP/HTTPS and RTP. Camera control covers VISCA over IP (TCP/UDP), RS-232/RS-485, VISCA and PELCO P/D, with SSDP for discovery. FreeD output publishes PTZF data to Unreal, Brainstorm, Vizrt, Zero Density and other virtual-set engines.
Robotics meet precision: presets (10 via IR / 256 via serial) at 0.1° accuracy, pan −176° to +176° at 0.1–80°/s and tilt −90° to +90° at 0.1–60°/s. Native AI auto-tracking maintains subject framing without external processors. Dual audio inputs—stereo 3.5 mm line-in and mini-XLR with phantom power—feed the encoder; embedded audio rides on HDMI, SDI, NDI and USB. A microSD slot enables on-board recording for instant backup when links drop.
